Inlay/Outlay Restorations

In my humble opinion there will never be any restoration like gold when it comes to fit, finish, and longevity. I have witnessed four generations of one family in my practice with the eldest maternal grandmother presenting with gold inlay, onlays, and crowns reportedly over 60 years old. I don't need to say any more. When it comes right down to it, gold has lasted and will continue to last for years. If you are a highly paid sports figure, it's a status symbol to boot!
