Oral Sedation

Fear of the dentist is pretty high on the all-time fear list. I myself get pretty worked up when I get my dental work done. The advent of oral sedation has allowed patients who formerly needed costly intravenous sedation to get their dental treatment in a relaxed manner with minimal to no anxiety. Another benefit of OCS is it's amnesic affect. Although most patients are awake and responsive throughout the entire procedure, many report little or very limited recollection of the appointment at all.
